Greetings Brethren, we just can’t seem to get away from the winter weather. As I prepare this the limbs are hanging in stress from the ice. Stress is what it feels like when you are Master of a lodge and there are few members on the side lines. Take a day, once a month, and visit Trinity and see old friends and some new faces. You just might be surprised.
The Grand Master’s Reception at the Canton Masonic Temple is on April 11th. The lodge has 8 paid tickets you may obtain by contacting our Secretary, W.B. Clyde Roberts.
I have a deep understanding of what they mean when someone states the fact that we have a fraternity of brotherly love and a bonding relationship. It really showed at our annual inspection with the turnout of Brethren with whom I have made acquaintance over the years. It is truly an honor to have been in the same lodge room with so many of you and I do thank you for attending our annual inspection.
Our Jewish Brethren observe Pesach (pronounced PAY-sock) also known as Passover, Sunday the 20th. From www.jewfaq.org/holidaya.htm, we learn that “the primary observances of Pesach are related to the Jews exodus from Egypt after generations of slavery. This story is told in Exodus, Ch. 1-15. Many of the Pesach observances are instituted in Chs. 12-15.”
Happy Easter to our Orthodox Brethren! Their Easter is on April 27th.
When dealing with a brother or a friend on an issue, deal with the current issue at hand not issues of the past.
We are saddened to learn of the passing of Past Master Myron Koyle, our thoughts and prayers go to his wife, Adelaine and their children Debra, Myron II, Douglas and Barbara.
